The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
